Danielle writes essays, criticism, exhibition reviews, artist profiles, and interviews artists for publications such as The New Inquiry, Magnum Photos, The British Journal of Photography, Ocula, and Dear Dave Magazine. Her academic paper, Time, Memory Retrieval, and Speculative Storytelling, is slated to be published in the peer-reviewed journal photographies in April 2026 with Taylor & Francis. The paper situates her practice-led research around language, image-making, human-machine collaboration, and the science of time-keeping as part of the expanded field of photographic practice. Danielle also publishes long-form conversations with artists, curators, and scholars on the risks and rewards of incorporating new technologies into creative practice on her Substack. She’s currently the Writer-in-Residence at BottoDAO.
